NEW TECHNOLOGY GIVES REALTORS A FIGHTING CHANCE

There’s an App for that!

September 15, 2009 (Boulder, Colorado) – Boulder-based start-up iRealty, Inc. has announced the launch of iRealty Colorado, a subscription-based service for Realtors designed to dramatically improve the way agents and home buyers work together. The iRealty Colorado website and iPhone App allows subscribing Realtors to offer their clients access to the information home buyers want when searching properties at home or on the go. Through an integrated mobile (iPhone) and web-based (desktop/laptop) application, participating agents in the Front Range can now give their clients real-time, MLS-based, search capabilities that brand the agent to the client throughout the home search process.

“Through the iRealty App and iRealtyCO.com website I can keep my contact information and brand in my clients hands instead of having them drift off to Zillow, a listing agent or a competitor’s website,” said Jay Hebb, Vice President of Walnut Realty in downtown Boulder, and a principal and co-founder of iRealty Colorado. “It is a great feeling to know that I am giving my clients the best home-search and discovery experience available on the market.”

The iRealty Colorado iPhone App incorporates complete MLS data with GPS-based property searches; interactive mapping to view properties for sale in surrounding neighborhoods; immediate sold/comp information and home value estimates. It also allows buyers to search for homes, save them in their Favorites file (in either iPhone or through the agent’s iRealty website) and email them to their agent, friends and family. There is also an auto-populated mortgage calculator next to each home being viewed, without the need to flip to another website. All the information is available in “real time” so agents and their clients can find homes just moments after they are listed in the MLS, even while out actually looking at homes.

“The iRealty iPhone App is the inevitable evolution of real estate sales,” said Hebb. “With the App I can access all of the information I need as an agent on the go, and empower my clients with it at the same time. It also serves my “green” initiative as it allows me to head off on a day of showings without a single piece of paper in hand.  My entire showing schedule, notes and key codes are saved in my Favorites folder and when questions come up about the nearby homes for sale or recent comps, as they always do, I have the answers in my hand.”

Some of Boulder’s top producers have been beta-testing the App for the last month. With the recent, steady increase in home sales along the Front Range, Hebb expects many agents to get on board quickly, in order to offer their clients the latest in house hunting services. “If you want to compete in a market like this, you need to keep your clients happy by giving them the resources they want, ”’ said Hebb. “Market knowledge is no longer enough to keep the client satisfied, and for 59 bucks a month, we now have the technology to keep our clients happy and close to home.”
